December Worship Series
Sundays, December 2nd - December 24th
In the midst of the busy-ness of the season, it is all-too-easy to lose track of the joy! Over these four Sundays leading up to the celebration of Christmas, we’ll walk together through the Christmas story, and remember God’s promises of hope and restoration!
Sunday, December 16 at 4:00pm
Join our Music Ministries for a Christmas Concert: “Sing Christmas!” The first half will feature our brand new Christmas cantata with a 20+ piece orchestra. The second half will feature light-hearted, joy-filled holiday music. Join the Chancel Choir, Youth Choir, Resonate!, Resonate Jr, Chapel Bells, Heaven’s Sake, and String Project for an uplifting afternoon. Free admission. Nursery is available for restless little ones!
Christmas Eve at Plantation!
On Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24th, we’ll have three very different worship services, each with candlelight, beautiful music, and a celebration of the hope of Christmas! May you and yours have a blessed Christmas season!
Children's CHRISTMAS Service @ 5pm
This fun, interactive service is specially designed for children and their families! Listen again to the beautiful story of Christmas, hear our adorable children's choirs share music, and enjoy a good time together! At the end of the service, we will "light" battery-powered tealights as we sing Silent Night together. Nursery available for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
PRAISE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE @ 7:30pm
This candlelit service features original stories written just for this season! Story-telling and music will be interwoven throughout a service of celebration, remembrance and hope! Enjoy the talents of our house band Heaven's Sake in this unique worship experience!
TRADITIONAL CANDlELIGHT CHRISTMAS @ 10pm
Join us for a beautiful time of celebration as we re-tell the story of Christmas, with choir, hymns, candlelight, and joy! We'll share Holy Communion together and sing the songs of the season.
New Year's Eve!
WATCH NIGHT SERVICE
Monday, December 31st @ 11pm
The history of this service goes back to the founder of the movement that became the United Methodist Church, John Wesley, who began Watch Night Services in the 1740s. Join us for this powerful service! As we say goodbye to 2018 and greet 2019, together we will celebrate, remember, and re-commit to living a joy-filled life with God!
