Coffee with the Pastor
Saturday, March 2nd, 10:00am- Noon
What is Plantation UMC all about? What do Methodists believe, and why does it matter? What’s the point of becoming a church member? How do I make connections within the church? If you’re interested in learning about these questions (and many more!) join Pastor Hedy for coffee! After this get-together, those interested will have the opportunity to join the church the very next day at the worship service of your choice: Sunday, March 3rd! Childcare available upon request. To reserve your spot, contact Jen Calvert at email@example.com or 954-584-7500.
Upcoming Guest Preacher
Founding Pastor Hank Galloway
Sunday, March 3rd
On the final Sunday of our series, On Mission Together, we will welcome our church’s Founding Pastor, Hank Galloway. Rev. Galloway has written a book about the founding of our church, called “Growing a Church for All People.” In worship, he will share how our church’s mission at its founding can inspire us on our mission in the future. Don’t miss this unique opportunity! Rev. Galloway will be staying for an “author’s lunch” after the 11:00 service. If you are interested in coming, please sign up here.
Wednesday, March 6th
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent, a season of reflection and preparation before Easter. Join us at 7:00pm for a special Ash Wednesday service in the Sanctuary. If you prefer, you can receive ashes anytime from 7:30 to 9:00 in the morning in front of the Sanctuary.
