October 22nd - November 19th
For 2017, PUMC will be partnering with ChildNet in the Adopt-a-Family/Child Mission. The mission will launch on October 22 and run through November 19, when Thanksgiving boxes and Christmas gifts are due in the Sanctuary.
All children — not just church members — who are interested in music, singing, and playing instruments are invited to participate. Children from 3 years old through 6th grade learn the basics of singing and note reading, and learn to play bells and chimes. Rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons: Resonate! (1st to 6th grade), 4:00-5:00pm in the Sanctuary, and Resonate, Jr. (3 years to Kindergarten), 4:00-4:40pm in the Choir Room.
The Chancel Choir has begun a new season of praising God and making music, and you are invited to join the fun! The Chancel Choir leads worship on Sunday mornings at the 11:00 service, with weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evenings, 7:30-9:00. The choir is open to adults and teenagers. All are welcome – no auditions necessary! Rehearsals begin on Wednesday, August 23 at 7:30 pm in the Choir Room.
All youth (6th to 12th grade) are invited to participate in a brand-new Youth Choir! The youth will develop their singing voices and learn to sing in 3-part harmony, as they perform in our church, around our community, and maybe even go on tour next year! All youth — guys and girls — are invited and encouraged to participate! Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 6:00-6:50pm in the Choir Room, starting August 30th.

FLORIDA UNITED METHODIST CHILDREN’S HOME TRIP
Date changed to March 17th 2018. After careful consideration we have changed the date and plan to visit the home during their annual “Day on Campus”. It was felt that after consultation with the folks at the Home, that the Day on Campus offers a more complete opportunity to experience what the Home has to offer.
