Pledge: /plej/ noun
An annual pledge in the context of a church congregation is a commitment made by individuals or families to contribute a specific amount of money to the church over a year. This financial pledge is typically a voluntary and recurring donation that members agree to give to support the church's activities, ministries, and operating expenses. The purpose of annual pledges is to help the church plan and budget effectively, ensuring a stable source of income for its ongoing work and mission. Members may choose the amount of their pledge based on their financial capacity and willingness to support the community.
ANNUAL PLEDGE
As a church family, we have been profoundly blessed by God. When we look at all that we have, it is clear that God’s ancient instinct is to bless his people beyond what we can ask or imagine.
Our generosity campaign for this year, “Double Blessing” is an invitation for all of us to grow in the grace of giving. Over the next few weeks, we will explore what it means to give out of a mindset of abundance, not scarcity. We will hear stories of how our collective generosity has already impacted our community and discover how we can flip our own blessings to become miracles for others.
As you prayerfully consider your role in this campaign, we ask you to think about how God is calling you to "flip the blessing" in your own life.
Our goal with this campaign is not just to meet a need but to see God do big things through our little acts of faithfulness. Will you join us in this journey of discovering the double blessing that awaits?
Thank you for your faithfulness and partnership in ministry.
